Configuration of an Autel Charging Station

This guide explains how to configure an Autel charging station to connect it to Club Roulez Électrique using the OCPP protocol.

Prerequisites

• A powered Autel charging station.
• A phone with the Autel Charge app.
• An Autel Charge account.
• Access to your Wi-Fi network.

Step 1 - Add the charging station to the Autel Charge app

• Download the Autel Charge app.
• Log in to your account or create one.
• From the home screen, tap on Add a charging station.
• Add your charging station by scanning the QR code or manually entering its serial number.
• Enter the PIN code provided with the charging station to complete the pairing.

Step 2 - Connect the charging station to the Internet

Before proceeding, ensure your charging station is connected to the Internet.

• Select your charging station.
• Open Settings.
• Select Wi-Fi Connection.
• Choose your Wi-Fi network.
• Enter your network password.
• Wait for the charging station to confirm it is connected.

Step 3 - Update the firmware

We strongly recommend installing the latest firmware version before activating the OCPP protocol.

• Open your charging station in the Autel Charge app.
• Tap on Settings.
• Select My Charger.
• Choose Firmware Update.
• Install the update if available.
• Wait for the update to fully complete before proceeding.

Important

Never interrupt the power supply to the charging station during the update.

Step 4 - Retrieve the serial number

The serial number will be needed to add your charging station to Club Roulez Électrique.

You can find it:

• On the label located on the side of the charging station, near the QR code.
• In the Autel Charge app, under My Charger or Device Information, depending on the app version.

Keep this serial number, as it will be required in the next step.

Step 5 - Add the charging station to Club Roulez Électrique

Before configuring the OCPP server, you must register your charging station in your Club Roulez Électrique account.

• Log in to your account on Club Roulez Électrique.
• Open the My Charging Stations section.
• Click on Add a charging station.
• Select Autel (OCPP).
• Enter the serial number of your charging station.
• Register the charging station.

Step 6 - Configure the OCPP server

• Open the Autel Charge app.
• Select your charging station.
• Tap on Settings.
• Select OCPP Server.
• Choose Custom Server.

Enter the following address:

ws://ocpp.sh/

Important

Use this address exactly.

The protocol is ws:// and not wss://.

The character / at the end of the address is mandatory.

• Tap on Connect.
• Wait for the app to indicate Successful.

The charging station will automatically establish a connection with the servers of Club Roulez Électrique.

Step 7 - Verify the connection

A few minutes after the configuration:

Your charging station should appear Online in your Club Roulez Électrique member area.

The upcoming charging sessions will be automatically transmitted to the Club.

Troubleshooting

If the charging station remains offline after a few minutes:

Verify that the serial number registered in the Club matches exactly with that of your charging station.

Check that the OCPP server address is entered correctly.

Make sure that the charging station is still connected to the Internet.
