OCPP configuration for IYILO charging stations

Setup procedure from the IYILO app

1. Prerequisites

  • IYILO station installed and powered.
  • IYILO application installed and user account configured.
  • Station added in the application and displayed as "Online".
  • Functional 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. The IYILO documentation indicates that the charger uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
  • OCPP server URL to which the station must connect: ws://ocpp.sh/

2. Serial number retrieval

  • Note the serial number displayed on the sticker of the station or on its original box.
  • It is located on the right of the station when you are facing it.

3. Registration of the station at Club Roulez Électrique

It is strongly recommended to use the Club's Internet portal for this step, not the mobile application.

  • Log in to your member area on the Club Roulez Électrique website.
  • On the left, in the "Dashboard" section, click on "My stations".
  • Click on the "Add a station" button.
  • Select the "Other OCPP station" tile.
  • Fill in the "NAME" field: give the name you wish to identify this station more easily.
  • Fill in the "Serial number" field: use the one identified in point 2.
  • Press the "Save" button.

Summary

During registration:

  1. Station brand: do not modify.
  2. Name: enter a name to better identify your station.
  3. Serial number: enter the exact serial number of your station. Check it carefully.
  4. Who installed this station?: this portion is optional and only serves for information purposes.

If you did not fill out point 4 of the summary image, an additional request will appear after pressing "Save".

You can click on "Complete" or "Later". This does not affect your station's configuration.

Press again on "My stations" in the left menu to see your newly added station.

4. OCPP configuration of the station in the application

  • Open the IYILO app.
  • Select the terminal to configure.
  • Check that the main page of the terminal is displayed and that the terminal is online.
  • Press the profile/avatar icon located in the upper left corner.
  • In the sidebar, select "Advanced".
  • The "Advanced" page displays in particular: - Power Sharing - Load Balancing - OCPP - Reboot Charger
  • In "Advanced", press "OCPP".

5. Activating the OCPP mode

  • Activate the "OCPP" mode slider.
  • For "OCPP Version", choose: OCPP 1.6
  • In the URL field, enter:
ws://ocpp.sh/
  • Save/apply the configuration by pressing the "Submit" button.

OCPP Mode Activated

The terminal must switch to OCPP mode.

6. Verify the terminal is properly connected

  • Return to the terminal page in Club Roulez Électrique.
  • Verify that the terminal is active and displays "Online" or "Available".
  • Conduct a short charging session and confirm that the session appears on the OCPP server.

7. Points of attention

  • Do not change the OCPP URL or ID randomly: a single character difference can prevent connection.
  • If the terminal goes offline after OCPP activation, first check: - 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; - server settings.
  • A recent version of the IYILO app is recommended. Release notes mention corrections related to OCPP configuration and adding confirmation when changing OCPP mode.

  • The interface may vary depending on the app version and terminal firmware.
