Certain chargers must be bought from Roulez Électrique or one of its partners because their manufacturers require it as a condition for those chargers to take part in the Program.

Follow the instructions specific to your charger's brand and model to allow the Program's required Charging Data to be transmitted. The connection method varies by model.
For every eligible charging session, the corresponding Points are automatically recorded in your Club Roulez Électrique Account. You can track their accumulation to the kWh in your dashboard.
When you charge your electric vehicle at home using an eligible Charger, certain Charging Data may allow the creation or recognition of Carbon Credits under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations (opens in a new tab). Roulez Électrique collects, validates and aggregates the eligible data in an effort to have the corresponding Carbon Credits recognized, reported, transferred or monetized. Part of the net economic value potentially generated is recorded in your account as Roulez Électrique Points. These Points can then be converted into a payout or another form of compensation once all of the Program's applicable conditions have been met.
Roulez Électrique collects eligible charging data, which its aggregator then monetizes under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations.

The number of Points recorded for each eligible kWh depends on your charger, your province and the Program's rules. Points can only be converted once all applicable conditions are met. Upon conversion, 100 Points equal $1.
Every eligible kWh is measured and the corresponding Points are recorded to your balance, subject to applicable validations.
Your Points accumulate in your dashboard throughout the year. Once eligible for conversion, you will be notified so that their conversion into a payout or another form of compensation can take place, subject to the Program's applicable conditions.
Sessions are recorded back to January 1st of your enrollment year. You don't lose any months that occurred before joining.
